Professional quarterback with focal heat spot in upper cervical region, and upper thoracic towards left side. Note cool fingers on left hand. Hot is represented by the pink and red colors and cold is represented by the blue colors.
Significant low back thermal asymmetry. Note heat projections from mid-line towards right side in lower thoracic and lumbar regions.
Concentrated low back thermal activity, spreading bilaterally. The projections from the mid-line are predominantly towards the left side.  Good thermal background.
Thermal image of elderly female. Note improper clinical setting with venetian blinds appearing on window on right side. Window is generating heat in the room environment. However, thermal patterns are quite evident. Complete thermal involvement on left side with multiple focal spots of increased activity.
Intensive thermal activity in mid-thoracic. Subject taken in similar environment as above (Fig. AWBPA1.T00). Decreased thermal zone on left side, mid thoracic, and increased on right side. Note increased thermal zone on right side of neck.
Thermal image of weight lifter. Note intense thermal patterns in cervical region, more towards left side. Cool thermal zone on arms, particularly left side.
Subject complained of right shoulder pain. Underwent surgery. Did not solve problem as still suffered from pain. This image was taken after surgery. Note increased thermal activity in the trapezius region.
Middle-aged female after treatment for whiplash type injury. Note increased thermal activity in cervical region, right side. Focal heat spot is located on left side, upper thoracic - possible trigger point location, muscular involvement.
Lateral projection, predominantly towards left side in lumbar region. Note also increased activity in mid to upper thoracic region on left side. Good thermal activity in hands and arms.
Subject has increased neuro-vascular activity on left side. Note thermal region in lower thoracic as demonstrated by unusual heat pattern in this location projecting towards left side (indicated by pointer).
Significantly increased asymmetrical heat pattern on right side, cervical region. Confirmed with MRI as moderate right paracentral/right lateral disc herniation.
